Eighteen songs in 42 minutes, and I respect a rhymer who leaves early.
B-Curious is a chap-hop album, and Mr.B The Gentleman Rhymer wrote, arranged, produced and performed all of it himself, which makes every one of the four tracks under a minute his own call to stop.
Titles like The Morbs and Snerdle look to me like a man who keeps a dictionary open on the desk, and a track list that runs from 0:35 to 3:38 looks like a man who sizes each song to its idea, not to an album’s filler quota. That’s a WIN from me.
It’s on Bandcamp as a digital album for £10 or more. Ten pounds over 18 tracks is about 56p a song, which I’d call fair money for 42 minutes made by one man. Took A Quiche To A Day Rave is the longest song on it at 3:38, and I’d like to know what a day rave even is.
